With over 100 years experience, American Packaging is a flexible packaging converter that specializes in up to 10 color flexographic and up to 10 color rotogravure printing, multi-ply extrusion and adhesive laminations of polyester film, polypropylene film, nylon film, paper, foil and polyethylene resin and film. It manufactures roll stock including roll-fed labels, peelable and fusion lidding specifications, preformed pouches and bags with a variety of special features from three process focused facilities. Its core converting competencies are its experience with foil and non foil, low, medium and high barrier packaging specifications with fusion and peelable sealants and pattern applied heat seal and cold seal coatings, and the ability to design specifications that meet the flexible packaging requirements of its customers based on their packaging equipment, their product, their distribution cycle and product resistance and shelf life requirements. Each division’s technical group has an extensive knowledge of substrates, inks, and coatings required to develop a specification to meet a customers flexible packaging requirements.
