American Packaging Corporation has been awarded the 2007 Columbia County Large Manufacturer of the Year award. This award was sponsored by the Columbia County Economic Development Corporation. Criteria for the award included expansion and growth in production or employees, employee training programs as well as contributions to the community. APC also received recognition for its success in creating a favorable environment for its employees.

Maintains VPP-Star status. This is the highest honor that a manufacturing facility can receive for health and safety programs. In addition to the certification, we received three Best Practice nominations for: Incident Investigation, Training (especially noted our video training) and Employee Involvement. There are 8,000,000 worksites in the United States and only 1300 have earned the distinction of calling themselves VPP STAR.

1st company in Wisconsin to ever receive this safety award. The
SHARP Award honors companies which have demonstrated excellence in

Human Resources Awards
American Packaging Corporation Receives Human Resources Excellence Award.
On April 24, 2003 American Packaging Corporation was chosen as one of the “final four” among over 430 member organizations for the 2003 Rochester Business Alliance Human Resources Excellence Award. American Packaging was then named one of the co-recipients at the May 6, 2003 Award Ceremony and Celebration held at the RBA Headquarters on East Avenue in Rochester, NY.
This award recognizes the contributions and achievements of an RBA HR Services member company, the impact of its human resource practices on the organization’s operational effectiveness, its community involvement, and its participation in and contribution to RBA-sponsored activities and services. Recipients of this award have demonstrated the ability to effectively influence their respective organizations in the areas of HR strategy, change management, policy administration and overall business impact.
